a) The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God.
b) The Scriptures principally teach what man is to believe concerning God, and what duty God requires of man.
2. The Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20).
a) It is the calling of the Church to carry out the Great Commission in obedience to Christ’s command.
3. Biblical Church Government or Presbyterian Form of Government (Jn 21:15; Acts 20:28).
a) Elders are chosen by the people; men who meet the qualifications.
b) There is to be a plurality of elders in each church.
c) Elders are to be ordained and appointed by a presbytery or a plurality of elders.
d) Christ is the only Head of His Church; He rules by His Word and Spirit.
4. Biblical Church Discipline (Matt 18:15-20).
a) One to One
b) One or two more witnesses
c) To the Church
5. Reformed Theology as contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith—Scripture alone.
a) God is the King of the universe: He rules, oversees and controls all things.
b) Salvation is by grace alone, by faith alone.
6. Baptism of believing adults and their children
“Baptism is a sacrament, wherein the washing with water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, doth signify and seal our ingrafting into Christ, and partaking of the benefits of the covenant of grace, an our engagement to be the Lord’s.”
