NEWS ON THE LIFE OF HIS CHURCH

Welcome to the worship of our majestic God.  May the Holy Spirit help us to drink from the Living Fountain, Christ Jesus, causing us to conform more into His image, all for the glory of God, the Father.

1. Thank You Pastor Solomon Yang – We express our deep appreciation to Pastor Solomon Yang for delivering God’s word to us today. 

2. New Senior Pastor Search Committee Officers are Elder Sungwoo Cho serving as the Chairman and Daniel Park JDSN as the Clerk.  The search committee email address is: search@nlmc.org.   

3. Joint House Group Picnic – We had a wonderful time yesterday at our church picnic.  Thank you for participating and special thanks to those who helped to pull this together. 

4. Praise and Prayer Nights – Please join us on the following Friday evenings (8/13, 8/27) for a time of praise and prayer.  We will focus on praying for our church and a new pastor. 

5. Mission trip to Cambodia – Please continue to keep Unhyi Yang and the entire team in your prayers.

6. Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 31st at the Campbell Community Center located at 1 W. Campbell Ave.  Please come out to cheer on our NLMC team. 

7. Visitations – Starting next month, Myung Jin Kim JDSN will focus on visiting KM members only. Pastor Daniel Park will visit EM members on an as needed basis.  Please contact Pastor Daniel at daniel.park@nlmc.org or 408-409-NLMC (6562). 

8. EM Conference will be held September 17-19 (Fri – Sun) with Pastor James Han.  Please keep this in your prayers. 

9. EM Sunday Bible study – Please join us to review the book titled A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23  (ISBN 0-310-21435-1).  This study is led by Elder Cho.  We will meet on Sundays from 1:45PM – 2:30PM (every Sunday except for the 1st Sunday of the month due to Joint Worship). 

10. Please come to church 15 minutes before the service to pray for the preacher, presider, church leaders, family, neighbors and missionaries.

11. Reminder – Next Sunday (8/1) is joint worship at 1:30PM.
